Seele transaction fee¶

While the major currency unit of Seele is seele, we use fan as the smallest unit. 1 seele = 100,000,000 fan. When you send transactions in Seele, the transaction amount and price is measured in fan.

Note that transaction amount and transaction fee are different. The transaction amount is the amount transferred from the sender to the receiver. The transaction fee is calculated by

fee = price * gas

and is paid to the block miners. The price is provided by the sender and gas depends on the transaction itself.
